Un souvenir dall'Italia: la tazza 'Keep Calm and drink cappuccino'.

Non si sa esattamente da cosa derivi il nome di questa bevanda così amata in Italia. Probabilmente dal colore, che assomiglia a quello del saio dei frati cappucini.

Secondo la leggenda fu proprio un frate, padre Marco da Aviano, ad aggiungere per la prima volta il latte al caffé. Era il 1683 e padre Marco era stato inviato a Vienna per provare a coinvolgere gli Stati Europei in una guerra contro gli Ottomani.

Al di là della leggenda, il cappuccino è sicuramente una delle bevande più consumate nel nostro paese. Un vero must della colazione all'italiana.
